About the role

Are you passionate about the technical field, do you enjoy the freedom of the road, and does the idea of managing your own day-to-day with the support of a great team motivate you?

At OCA Global, we guarantee a safer and more sustainable future by auditing and inspecting the standards by which the world moves. We are driven by the ambition to do things with rigor, freshness, and speed, making us the young, dynamic alternative that is revolutionizing the sector.

We have two vacancies to lead on-site acoustic emission testing at gas storage tanks within a strategic project.

We are looking for people who want to train alongside our experienced team, take on responsibility in the field, and build a solid career within the company.

What you'll do

  • You will carry out precision technical testing: You will perform acoustic emission tests and checks on gas storage tanks using the assigned company van, ensuring that installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • You will plan your own operations and route: You will manage your weekly inspection routes together with your work partner to efficiently cover scheduled inspections in the area (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, and Castilla y León).

  • You will learn from the best from day one: You will receive continuous initial training from our most experienced team member, taking on board the working methodology to gain full autonomy in the field.

  • You will grow within the project: You will be part of the initial phase of an expanding service. In the future, this project will grow into new operating areas.

What we're looking for

We present our requirements as the key tools for you to carry out your work successfully and feel comfortable in the role:

  • Technical Training (Advanced Vocational Training / Higher-Level Training Cycle in Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a similar field): This will provide you with the foundational knowledge of physics and equipment needed to quickly master acoustic emissions testing techniques.

  • Valid driver's license and enthusiasm for driving: The company van will be your operational base. You will always be accompanied by your work partner on routes across northern Spain.

  • Availability to travel during the week: You will need to be available to stay away from home overnight several days per week depending on the routes you plan.

  • Flexible geographic base: We value profiles located preferably in León, Bilbao, Santander, or areas with good connections in Castilla y León, Cantabria, Asturias, or the Basque Country.

  • Proactive Profile and Project-Oriented: We do not require previous experience in regulatory inspection. We are looking for attitude, a willingness to learn a specialty that is highly valued on the market, and commitment to grow with us in the long term.

What you'll get

  • You will belong to a dynamic and horizontal environment: You will be part of a company in constant expansion where decisions are made quickly, the working atmosphere is friendly, and every person counts.

  • Company Van and Expense Coverage: You will have a fully equipped company van for your travel with your partner. Also, all overnight accommodation and travel expenses are covered by us.

  • Wellness Schedule: During your regular working days, our work-life balance philosophy will apply: schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and every Friday, the days before public holidays, and July and August with a flexible schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. In addition, December 24th and 31st are guaranteed days off for the entire team.

  • Stability and Career: Permanent contract with start date planned for September. You will be part of a real future project with clear opportunities for growth into local or coordination roles.
