Water Network Technician

Temporary contract, 100% full-time with morning, afternoon or night shifts according to the rota or on-call duties.

At Aqualia, a company specialized in managing the complete water cycle, we are looking for a NETWORK TECHNICIAN profile to carry out the following main functions:

-Maintenance and small works on the network:

Maintenance work on sewerage and supply networks in both urban and rural areas (network monitoring, inspection, verification and operation, where applicable, of special elements such as valves, PRVs, air valves, etc.).

Cleaning of gullies and sewerage networks.

Plumbing: urgent repair and/or replacement of networks (due to leaks, breakdowns, deterioration, etc.), replacement or new installation of shut-off and control elements in distribution networks, replacement or installation of new meters, leak detection, etc. Unloading and storage of pipes, alignment and placement in the trench, anchoring for special fittings (elbows, valves, etc.).

Auxiliary masonry: Civil works for opening and closing trenches, opening shafts, backfilling, building inspection chambers, constructing brick or concrete chambers for valve and/or air valve access, etc.

Pothole repair-paving: paving after a repair or connection work, soil compaction.

Carrying out and repairing service connections.

-Facility control: control and maintenance tasks for spillways, pumping stations, sample collection, maintenance of drinking water storage tanks, tank cleaning, facade painting, level measurement, maintenance of green areas (gardening, fence repairs, etc.), etc.

Academic training: Vocational training / Intermediate degree / Technician in networks, water treatment stations and water management

Specific knowledge: maintenance of hydraulic networks

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in maintenance work on networks, meters and installations.
