- Previous experience in water network maintenance, plumbing, installations, or civil engineering.
- Training in hydraulic installations, electromechanics, maintenance, or similar.
- Valid driver's license (B).
- Availability to perform rotating on-call shifts (approximately every 6 weeks).
- Residence in Girona or nearby regions.
- Ability to work autonomously, initiative, and orientation toward incident resolution.
- Good predisposition to work in a team and in contact with users.

We collaborate with a leading company in the water sector in the province of Girona, with a long trajectory and an essential role in the management and maintenance of drinking water supply networks.

What you'll do
As a Water Network Technician, you will be part of the team responsible for guaranteeing the correct functioning of the distribution network and the quality of service to users.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on the drinking water network: pipes, valves, hydrants, meters, and other installation elements.
- Detect, locate, and repair leaks and breakdowns.
- Execute registrations, cancellations, and replacements of meters.
- Perform meter readings and installation inspections at users' homes.
- Attend to and manage incidents reported by clients or different town councils.
- Perform maneuvers on the network: supply shut-offs and openings, purges, disinfections, and other technical actions.
- Provide support in renovation and expansion works of the network: excavations, connections, and installation of new pipes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and water quality regulations.
- Prepare the corresponding communications and work reports.
- Collaborate with the rest of the technical team and participate in the on-call service when necessary.
