The role

WELCOME TO OUR TEAM

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding. All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application comes directly to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships. We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Handling operational customs and foreign trade activities in accordance with established rules, procedures, and centrally defined functional guidelines.
  • Maintaining official records relating to excise duties, customs warehouses, and relevant EMCS flows in compliance with national legislation and centrally defined functional guidelines.
  • Monitoring customs procedures for SITE import and export flows.
  • Coordinating customs clearance for the import and export of products and materials bought from or sold to third countries.
  • Processing and filing export proof requests submitted by the authorities to justify the non-application of VAT.
  • Preparing and maintaining customs documentation, including customs warehouses, tariff classifications, and export and import costs, in accordance with the agreed terms.
  • Supporting audits and inspections, where applicable.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a higher academic qualification.
  • Advanced spoken and written English (B2 level).
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office. Knowledge of Tax Agency applications is desirable.
  • Previous experience in customs management is desirable; experience in Logistics/Supply Chain will be considered an advantage.
  • Specific knowledge of foreign trade will be valued.
  • Ability to work in a team, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail. The position requires a high degree of reliability and accuracy in task execution, with no errors.

WHAT WE OFFER

The chance to shape the image of Surventis in a fast-moving, supportive environment, with the latest AI tools built into everyday communications, we offer you:

  • 30 vacation days/year (full-time).
  • Attractive salary with individual benefits such as performance-related bonuses.
  • Company-funded supplementary health insurance, accident insurance and an attractive pension plan.
  • Local and global development and career opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • A feedback culture firmly integrated into our corporate culture, e.g., through regular employee surveys and management feedback.
