Requirements
What we're looking for
- Certified training in the field of electricity/electrotechnics/electronics or similar.
- Preferably with 2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, industrial electrical maintenance or similar, or electricity in low and high voltage installations.
Nice to have
- We will value work related to different types or interfaces of communication (RS232/485, MODBUS, Ethernet, etc.), knowledge in networks, fiber, WiFi, CCTV, access control, and configuration of computer equipment.
- We will value OHS courses for electrical work (Siderometalúrgico agreement) and work at heights.
- English knowledge will be valued.

The role
As an O&M technician, you will work performing maintenance tasks at the photovoltaic plants of the Valladolid Hub (Tordesillas - Peñaflor area).
What you'll do
- Preventive maintenance, complying with the maintenance plans established by the O&M department manager and acting according to BayWa r.e. operating procedures.
- Corrective maintenance attending to work orders.
- Low/medium voltage work.
- Installation/machine renovation work (retrofit).
- Monitoring of SCADA systems.
- Vegetation clearing.
- Mechanical cleaning of photovoltaic modules.
- On-call service on weekends/holidays (SCADA portfolio control in O&M).
- Other tasks (repair of access roads, cleaning of rainwater drainage systems, fencing, etc.).
- Occasional assistance to other work centers within the national territory for the development of preventive/corrective/other activities as indicated by the O&M department manager.
- Perform cleaning and basic maintenance work of the tools and the work areas under your influence.
- Promote safe behaviors and the correct use of work and protection equipment, and foster the interest and cooperation of workers in preventive action.
- Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and the Environment, respecting legal requirements regarding these matters, as well as internal BayWa r.e. requirements, during the performance of your work.
