Vehicle Assembly Process Engineer

• Industrial/mechanical engineering/product development or similar
• Knowledge and mastery of automotive design, 3D numerical conception analysis, as well as basic automotive manufacturing and assembly processes and assembly process standards
• Understanding of documents in French or English, both orally and in writing
• Use of information systems and specific tools: ProAPW, SIGNE, NPDM, LUP, (BMIR, PR, others)
• Knowledge of design tools: Catia V5/V6
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and related regulations
• Knowledge of engineering process time encryption (DST, TPR)
• Basic knowledge of fastening, clipping, and assembly technology
• Ability to analyze problems within the Vehicle Trims perimeter, with a focus on the assembly process and industrial performance
• Knowledge of tolerance/dimensional chains
• Knowledge of office tools (EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD, ONE-NOTE...)
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

We are looking for Process Engineers to join industrialization projects and the series production launch of new vehicles.

• Industrialization of new vehicle projects and product/process evolutions during series life in the Vehicle Assembly Area and associated production lines.
• Contribute to guaranteeing product manufacturability to achieve the maximum industrial performance of the Assembly Area.
• Specify the vehicle assembly process (operation sequence, FOP, fixtures, small means, and assembly tools) using the ProAPW system.
• Collaborate in optimizing the performance of the Manufacturability process.
• Create the Assembly Graph following standards.
• Verify the definition of tightening operations (OPS) by checking the factors that influence bolting operations.
• Eliminate serious non-conformities originating from "manual operations" and optimize the cost of provisional operations.
• Participate in the process-side validation of the launch agreements for product manufacturing fixtures.
• Participate in the preparation of specification documents (load books) for small tooling and assembly tools (POP).
