Experience

• Proposing technical and functional improvements to the product.
• Working as a team to achieve the set goals.
• Taking part in the design and implementation of systems based on distributed services.
• Working with Java development patterns and architectures.
• Designing and developing REST APIs.
• Ensuring code quality and cleanliness (Clean Code, SOLID Principles, PRs).
• Developing under a CI/CD model and performing code reviews.

Hard Skills

• Java 17-21 (Java enhancements: streams, lambdas, optional, etc.).
• Latest versions of SpringBoot; Spring Data.
• Caffeine and Redis caching systems.
• Hexagonal Architecture.
• Having been part of a Scrum team.
• Developing CQRS services.
• Knowing and sharing the fundamentals of DDD and BDD.
• API strategy and knowledge of standard specifications (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, RAML, etc.).
• Systems based on asynchronous communication protocols: queues, messaging such as Kafka, events, etc.
• Testing, integration tests, unit tests with JUnit, Mockito; TDD.
• Experience and interest in applying AI in development contexts.

We are currently looking for a Java Developer specialized in API products, microservices, and high-availability, low-latency, resilient environments to join on a permanent basis one of the teams technology that Between has deployed at one of our main clients.

The selected person will collaborate on a major technology project under an agile methodology, with collaborative and non-hierarchical teams, requiring a high degree of proactivity and responsibility.

• As a developer, you will work on designing and implementing APIs (aimed at front-end systems) and the services required to deliver each new feature.
