The role

we are selecting a Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow Software Development Engineer (electric vehicles and hydrogen) to join one of the teams that BETWEEN's Mobility and Transportation unit has deployed at one of our main clients dedicated to the development of electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

The selected person will be responsible for developing the software functions that run on the vehicle and fuel cell electronic control units (ECUs), through model-based design with Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow, from requirements to implementation.

What you'll do

What will I do? These will be your main responsibilities:

• You will develop control software functions for electric and fuel cell vehicles using Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow.

• You will define requirements and model-based design of the functions, including state machines.

• You will participate in code generation and in the integration of the software into the electronic control units (ECUs).

• You will perform testing and validation of the developed software (simulation, test bench, and vehicle).

• You will use CAN communication protocols to integrate and verify the functions in the vehicle.

• You will collaborate with the electronics and mechanics teams in an agile environment, with responsibility for the complete product.
