What we're looking for

• Professional with experience in Siemens PLC programming and TIA Portal seeking to orient their career towards a stable position in support and maintenance of automated installations. We are looking for a person with the ability to diagnose and resolve incidents, perform specific code modifications, and operate autonomously when dealing with clients. We will especially value experience in startup, fine-tuning, or commissioning.

• Experience in Siemens PLC programming and use of TIA Portal.

• Experience programming automated machinery or installations.

• Knowledge of industrial maintenance.

• Ability to interpret electrical and electronic blueprints.

• Experience in hardware and software incident resolution.

The role

We are currently selecting a Siemens PLC Maintenance and Service Technician to join on a permanent basis one of the teams that Between has deployed at one of our main clients in on-site modality in Oñati (Gipuzkoa).

What you'll do

• Attention and resolution of incidents in automated installations.

• Diagnosis of PLC, electrical, and electronic faults.

• Technical support and direct communication with clients.

• Modifications, expansions, and small PLC programming developments.

• Participation in renovations, migrations, and evolutions of installations.

• Programming of new solutions on a specific and limited basis.

How you'll work

• Work is organized through rotating shifts between teams: morning (6:00-14:00), afternoon (14:00-22:00), and split shift (4 and 4 hours).

• Availability to perform on-call duties, approximately six weeks per year, with compensation for availability and additional compensation in case of intervention. These include nights and weekends.

• Very, very occasional travel and short-duration interventions (Spain, Portugal, and France).
