Who FITS this role?

A person with good skills for negotiating and reaching agreements beneficial to both parties, with the ability to resolve day-to-day situations autonomously and with the skill to identify customer needs and plan and prioritize their activity based on them.

Degree in Engineering or Higher Vocational Training related to Mechanics, Automotive or similar. These qualifications are only a reference. Regardless of what you have studied, if you are passionate about the automotive world, apply now!
Upper-intermediate level of English. Written and conversational tests will be conducted.
Passion for the automotive world and technical knowledge of the automotive industry.
Interest in technology and its new applications in the automotive industry.
Availability to travel.
Valid driver's license (B).

The role

At Domingo Alonso Group we are looking for a person to join our team in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to perform the role of Technical Support Engineer.

What you'll do

Provide technical advice to official after-sales services for vehicle repair, management of equipment and tool standards, and IT systems
Monitor and report to the manufacturer on the quality of vehicle repair procedures
Coordinate the training needs of official services with the Training department
Implement new applications and digital systems in the After-Sales business area
Advise on vehicle retrofits and approvals
Produce statistics and control breakdowns using systems and procedures established by the manufacturer
Study the equipment and tool standards of the dealer network using information provided by the manufacturer for each brand

How you'll work

Hours: Mon-Fri from 08:00-16:00 or 9:00 to 17:00
