About the role

As a Lawyer within the Legal Department at Capgemini's headquarters, you will work on Intellectual Property in a dynamic international environment and interact with commercial and legal teams located around the world. 

Under the supervision of the Group IP Manager, you will be in charge of advising local business and legal teams on copyright, trademarks, design rights and ICT, specifically:

  • Provide legal support on IP licensing agreements to local legal teams.
  • Prepare other IP-related contracts for the Marketing and Communication teams.
  • Carry out legal assessments of the group's assets from an IP perspective.
  • Propose and define the most appropriate IP protection for the assessed assets.
  • Manage part of the Group's IP portfolio.
  • Manage disputes related to the Group's unregistered IP rights with external counsel.
  • Prepare and deliver IP/IT training to the business. Monitoring of IP legislation and regulations.

Your profile

To feel comfortable in the position, the following is required:  

  • Master's degree in Intellectual Property.
  • Between 3 and 6 years of effective experience in Intellectual Property in the legal department of an international company or at a law firm.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • A cover letter is required.
