ClassPass was founded in 2013 by Payal Kadakia, who was inspired to create a platform that simplifies access to fitness classes. The company quickly gained traction, expanding from a New York-based service to a global network of fitness partners. Over the years, it has acquired competitors like FitReserve and Classtivity, and has become a household name in the fitness subscription space.
