About the role

Reporting to the warehouse manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Organize, manage, and supervise the fulfillment of activities by your team. 
- Ensure that all activities comply with Safety, Quality, and Food Defense standards. Promote a preventive culture in these three areas. 
- Guarantee adequate storage conditions according to the material's characteristics. Guarantee rotation considering the best-before date. 
- Guarantee the supply of Raw Materials by FEFO to the packaging lines according to the Production Plan. 
- Conduct periodic inventories of raw materials, empty glass packaging, and returnable packaging from suppliers. 
- Calculate needs and coordinate transfers of raw materials between decentralized warehouses. 
- Monitor supplier delivery conditions. Manage and track Non-Conformities. 
- Define supplier delivery plan together with the Procurement Department. 
- Plan the personnel needed for your shift considering vacation periods, absences, and workload. Interpret the Master Production Schedule to calculate short- and medium-term needs. 
- Fulfill your team's training plan, promoting development within the Department. Align needs with the L&D Department. 
- Conduct periodic one-to-one meetings with the people assigned to your shift. 
- Monitor logistics area KPIs. Identify and analyze deviations. 
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. 
- Attend and participate in periodic meetings with other Departments and align business objectives. 
- Define, standardize, and document processes according to Operational Excellence requirements. 
- Collaborate in internal and external audits. 
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement. 
- Propose and develop improvements through technical and technological solutions. 
- Review the condition and maintenance of the means and facilities under your responsibility (forklift fleet, infrastructure, and electronic devices). 

The necessary requirements for the position are

Education: 


Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields.
Advanced English. Fluency for conversation. 

Knowledge: 

Knowledge of SAP WM is valuable. 
Knowledge related to Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma is valuable. 
High-level knowledge of office software (MS Excel / Power BI) is necessary. 

Experience: 


2-3 years of demonstrable experience in team management, preferably in the logistics area (setting objectives, team training, shift planning, definition and monitoring of KPIs).
