YOUR MISSION: to activate sustainability throughout the entire organization. You will have a key role connecting strategy, operations, and compliance to integrate ESG criteria across the entire value chain, from logistics to corporate decision-making.

- You will guarantee compliance with environmental and social regulations applicable to the food distribution sector.
- You will prepare and coordinate sustainability reports, ESG reports, and regulatory reporting (CSRD, ESRS, environmental footprint, among others).
- You will ensure the documentary traceability necessary for audits and requirements from external providers.
- You will collaborate with key areas such as Quality and Food Safety, OSH, Logistics, Purchasing, People and Organization, and Legal to integrate ESG criteria into processes.
- You will align ESG standards with public tender requirements and agreements with institutions.
- You will drive a sustainable culture in platforms and stores, supporting middle management in the adoption of responsible practices.

About Coviran
Coviran is a Spanish food retail cooperative based in Granada, operating one of the largest networks of neighborhood supermarkets in Spain. With over 3,000 points of sale, primarily under the Coviran brand, the company focuses on proximity retail, offering fresh produce, groceries, and everyday essentials. It is a key player in the Spanish grocery sector, particularly in Andalusia and other regions, and is known for its cooperative model that supports local suppliers and small-format stores.
Coviran's operations in Spain are extensive, with distribution centers and logistics hubs across the country, including locations such as Atarfe, Toledo, Coslada, Vitoria, and others. The company's work culture emphasizes teamwork, operational efficiency, and local community engagement. For international professionals, Coviran offers opportunities primarily in warehouse and logistics roles, such as order preparation and forklift operation, which may be suitable for those seeking entry-level positions in the retail supply chain. While the company is deeply rooted in Spain, its cooperative structure and regional focus mean that roles are often localized, and Spanish language skills are typically essential for day-to-day operations.
