The role
Join our team! At Dia España, we are looking to hire a Butcher for our supermarket in Palos de la Frontera, committed to quality and customer service.
What you'll do
Customer service and advice: Provide friendly, high-quality service, answering questions and helping customers choose butcher shop products.
Cutting, cleaning and preparing meat: Cleaning, filleting, and presenting the product in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
Counter setup and restocking: Assembling and restocking the butcher display, ensuring order, freshness, and attractive presentation of products.
Maintaining order and hygiene: Daily cleaning of the work area and utensils following established safety and hygiene protocols.
Inventory management: Control of stock, expiration dates, and order needs to offer the best products in the butcher section.

What are we looking for in your profile as a Butcher?
Previous experience in a butcher shop, supermarket, or food retail (a minimum of 6 months is recommended).
Knowledge of fresh products, cutting techniques, handling, and preservation of meat and chicken.
Customer-oriented person, responsible, with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Schedule flexibility to work rotating shifts and availability for immediate start.
