The role

What you'll do
- Carrying out nursing assessments upon admissions and periodic assessments as established.
- Preparation and administration of medication to residents following medical prescriptions.
- Providing palliative care: administering morphine and other palliative medications.
- Validating the care plan, including wound care, feeding, and pharmacological treatment, within the interdisciplinary team.
- Recording in the resident's medical record the guidelines and their progress.
- Providing emotional and psychological support to residents, as well as attending to family consultations.
- Supervising the care provided by auxiliary staff according to guidelines from the interdisciplinary team.
- Performing INR tests (coagulation tests) and monitoring INR (Sintrom), carrying out blood tests and adjusting doses as prescribed by the physician.
