The role
Contribute to the improvement of patient health through dispensing and/or pharmacotherapeutic monitoring by means of specialized pharmaceutical care that adds value to the care process and promotes and enables the effective, safe, and efficient use of medications within a framework of integral and continuous assistance.
What you'll do
- Pharmacy service management: supervision of prescription, acquisition, preparation, storage, dispensing, and administration of medications.
- Stock management.
- Control of narcotics.
- Validation of medical prescriptions.
- Coordination of pharmaceutical and technical pharmacy service personnel.
- Medication information and promotion of continuous training.
- Participation in the center's pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
- Maintenance of the Pharmacotherapeutic Guide.
- Review and optimization of therapeutic plans in consensus with the medical team.
- Participation in the antimicrobial stewardship program (PROA).
- Management of adverse reactions and pharmaceutical alerts.
