Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy. NO other university degrees are valid, EXCLUSIVELY the one in Occupational Therapy
Desirable minimum experience of 1 year in primary care, in a hospital, or in a nursing home.
Recommended complementary training in occupational therapy, gerontology, or similar.
Availability of training courses related to the area, as well as complementary training in terms of promoting Equality, will be positively valued.

What you'll do

Assessment of new admissions and their performance capacities in activities of daily living.
Programming, validation, and execution of occupational therapy treatment programs for the training and re-education of basic and instrumental activities of daily living, physical activities, cognitive stimulation, psychosocial activities, and community intervention activities.
Development of occupational therapy treatment programs for new residents with the establishment of individualized goals.
Execution of occupational therapy treatment programs for the training and re-education of activities of daily living.
Evaluation and analysis of the evolution of the rehabilitative treatment, adapting the program interventions and objectives based on the progress of each resident.
Supervision and intervention in the ADLs of patients, supporting assistants to ensure they perform them correctly.
Advising families regarding the most convenient orthopedic support products and orthoprotheses in each case.
Encouraging the resident to participate in the playful and recreational activities carried out at the center and promoting ways for them to occupy their free time.
