You will carry out your duties in the charcuterie area, ensuring the proper cutting, handling, and presentation of products. You will provide personalized, high-quality customer service, advising customers on their purchases and promoting the sale of fresh products.
Main duties and requirements.
What you'll do
- Perform, under supervision, slicing tasks and the preparation of deli trays containing cold cuts, cheeses, and sliced products following defined techniques and formats, so that the product reaches the counter in the established quality and presentation conditions.
- Perform the reception of cold cuts, cheeses, and sliced products by verifying quantities, temperatures, and dates, and locate the product in the cold room according to the storage conditions of each reference, to preserve the cold chain and contain shrinkage.
- Replenish the counter, the display case, and the shelf throughout the day respecting the defined layout and FIFO rotation, to ensure the availability of the assortment and an attractive display until closing.
- Check the display case preservation and best-before dates and remove unsuitable products, communicating any incidents to their supervisor, to avoid their sale and limit the department's shrinkage.
- Apply personal hygiene protocols, cleaning of utensils, machinery, and surfaces, and complete the corresponding records, to guarantee compliance with health regulations and the HACCP self-control system.
- Attend to simple customer requests at the counter and refer advisory inquiries to the Professional, to maintain the service level during peak periods.
