Requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a wood varnisher or in a similar position.
Training in Carpentry, Wood, or related fields is valued.
Experience using spray guns for varnishing and finishing equipment.
Knowledge of varnishes, lacquers, stains, and wood finishing processes.
Driver's license and own vehicle to travel to the workplace.
Availability to travel as required by project needs.
A responsible person with teamwork skills and attention to detail.

The role

At Micofer by Empatif, we are looking for a Wood Varnisher to join a company specialized in the manufacturing and assembly of wooden furniture located in As Pontes de García Rodríguez (A Coruña).

If you have experience applying varnishes and finishes to wood and are looking for a project with the possibility of continuity, we want to meet you!

What you'll do

Preparing wood surfaces for finishing.
Applying varnishes, lacquers, stains, and other finishing products using spray guns and other techniques.
Sanding between coats and inspecting finishes to ensure product quality.
Preparing and adjusting varnish and stain mixtures according to specifications.
Operating and performing basic maintenance on varnishing equipment.
Controlling final finish quality and ensuring compliance with production standards.
Compliance with safety regulations and occupational risk prevention.
