The role

At Eurofirms, we are looking for a Logistics & Purchasing Specialist for a metal trade sector company located in Cardedeu to perform the following functions:

What you'll do

• Coordinate logistics operations with the 3PL, carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.

• Organize and monitor shipments, collections, and special transports, resolving delays, damages, returns, and other incidents.

• Manage logistics documentation and coordinate delivery requirements and dates with Sales and Inside Sales.

• Create and monitor purchase orders, verifying prices, quantities, conditions, and deadlines.

• Manage suppliers by monitoring deliveries, comparing offers, searching for alternatives, and supporting negotiations.

• Supervise inventory, analyzing discrepancies, coverage, turnover, obsolescence, and potential stockouts.

• Manage claims and verify invoices, keeping data updated in the ERP and preparing area indicators.

• Operational responsibility for the correct execution and monitoring of assigned logistics, transport, and purchasing processes.

• Ability to select the most suitable logistics option within the authorized suppliers, conditions, and cost levels.

• Ability to claim against suppliers and carriers and agree on operational solutions regarding delays, damages, shortages, or non-compliance.

• Proposal of alternative suppliers, inventory adjustments, replenishment measures, and savings opportunities.

• Execution of orders and support in negotiations within established policies, budgets, and authorization levels.
