Agricultural Machinery Mechanic

For an important company dedicated to the sale and repair of agricultural machinery, we are looking for a Mechanic with the mission of providing after-sales service to work in Gurb. The selected person will carry out the following functions:

- Perform repairs and diagnostics on agricultural equipment (tractors, harvesting and cultivation equipment, precision agriculture equipment...), as well as corrective and preventive maintenance of the equipment.

- Configuration and preparation of new or used equipment, ensuring optimal delivery to the customer.

- Complete reports and administrative procedures corresponding to each workshop task (work sheet, technical communication with manufacturers, time sheet...).

- Assist with tasks related to the general organization of the workshop, tools, and vehicles, as well as keeping the work area clean.

- Comply with the established safety regulations in all tasks.

- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.

• We are looking for a proactive person with a positive attitude, results-oriented, and with a high capacity for teamwork and communication.
• Advanced knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic Systems used in the repair of agricultural machinery.
• Good computer skills.
• Residence close to the workplace or a real possibility of commuting.
• Demonstrable previous experience of two years in repairing agricultural or industrial equipment.
• Hold a valid B driver's license to perform maintenance and repairs outside the workshop.
• It is valuable to have training for a forklift and overhead crane license.
• Valuable knowledge in TIG welding, oxy-fuel cutting, or wire welding.
• Residence near the workplace is valued.
