We are looking for a Project Developer - M&A and investments to join the Investments and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) team, whose mission will be: to provide financial support to the business development units, helping to ensure that each acquisition or project meets the profitability, risk, and strategic fit standards defined by the Board of Directors.

Main responsibilities

  • Investment framework: Apply capital allocation criteria that allow for the homogeneous comparison of projects across different geographies and business verticals.
  • Financial modeling: Preparation, structuring, and maintenance of complex financial models for acquisition, divestment, and concession bidding operations.
  • M&A processes: Participate in the entire transaction cycle, from the Non-Binding Offer (NBO) to closing, including direct participation in financial Due Diligence, including the management of external advisors and the synthesis of conclusions for the Investment Committee.
  • Interdepartmental coordination: Work transversally with the Tax, Finance, Legal, and Business Development teams.
  • Financial and risk analysis: Consolidate and analyze the financial information of projects, guaranteeing their coherence and consistency, and identify and evaluate the business risks associated with each transaction, ensuring their proper incorporation into the financial models and contractual documentation.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or Engineering.
  • An MBA or postgraduate training in Finance will be valued.
  • English level C1-C2. Other languages will be valued, especially French and German.
  • Between 5 and 7 years of experience in:
      • M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions).
      • Transaction Services (Big Four).
      • Infrastructure or energy funds.
      • Project Finance or FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) in related sectors.
  • Experience in investment operations of relevant size and in capital-intensive (CAPEX) assets.
  • Ability to work with more senior professionals and, progressively, to guide junior analysts.
  • Strategic vision, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Knowledge

  • Solid mastery of financial modeling and Project Finance principles.
  • Valuation methodologies (DCF, market comparables, and precedent transactions).
  • Accounting fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of corporate transaction documentation (SPA, Head of Terms).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the M&A process from start to finish, including financial Due Diligence.
  • Knowledge of the dynamics of the infrastructure and/or energy sector.
  • Understanding of the economics of capital-intensive assets.
