Industrial Preparer - Automotive Sector

• Technical studies with specialization in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Have 2/3 years of experience as a Process Engineer/Technician in the automotive sector.
• Experience in Methods Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing processes.
• Interpretation of drawings and technical documentation.
• Definition of methods and operating sequences.
• Time studies and line balancing.
• Lean Manufacturing.
• Industrial ergonomics.
• Engineering change management.
• Knowledge of FMEA/PFMEA and Control Plan.
• Handling of PLM, ERP, and MES tools.
• Proficiency in Office tools and technical documentation software.
• Demonstrate a high level of English.

And What will your mission be?

As an Industrial Preparer, your mission will be to take responsibility for defining, documenting, and preparing the manufacturing operations necessary for the production of a product or component, ensuring that the designed processes can be executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the customer's quality standards. Your mission consists of transforming information coming from Product Engineering and Process Engineering into clear, structured, and operational industrial documentation that allows Production to manufacture the product in a repeatable and controlled manner.

During the development of new projects and in the management of industrial modifications, the Preparer participates in the definition of manufacturing sequences, work methods, standard times, and operating instructions, guaranteeing that all necessary information is available before the start of production. Likewise, they collaborate in validating the manufacturability of the product and in the implementation of engineering changes, ensuring consistency between technical documentation, production processes, and the reality of the plant.

The Preparer works transversally with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance, providing technical support during the industrialization and mass production phases. Their contribution is essential to guarantee operational stability, minimize incidents derived from documentation errors, and facilitate the continuous improvement of work methods.

Additionally, they participate actively in process optimization through time analysis, the standardization of operations, and the incorporation of improvements that allow for increased productivity, reduced waste, and the correct implementation of industrial modifications.

• Prepare and maintain manufacturing ranges and instructions.
• Define operating sequences and work methods.
• Calculate and keep updated the standard manufacturing times.
• Prepare the technical documentation necessary for production.
• Validate the manufacturability of new products and engineering modifications.
• Coordinate the documentary implementation of engineering changes.
• Update bills of materials, manufacturing routes, and industrial documentation in corporate systems.
• Provide technical support to Production during the implementation of new processes or modifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects oriented towards the optimization of methods and processes.
• Guarantee that industrial documentation is available and updated before the start of production.
