First-Class Mechanical Maintenance Technician

• Vocational Training of the Second Degree or Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle, in a technical branch.
• At least 2 years in a similar position.
• Knowledge of maintenance in an industrial environment:
• Single-stage centrifugal pumps.
• Motor alignment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics: symbology, hydraulic circuits, how to identify drawings vs. plant layout.
• Use of Workshop Tools and welding.
• Knowledge regarding types of couplings.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics (metrics, fasteners, blueprint reading, bearings)
• Workshop repairs.
• Teamwork, autonomy, organization, problem-solving, initiative, and proactivity.
• Availability to work on-call shifts.
• Availability to work holidays.
• Residence near the plant.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.

• Knowledge of lathe and milling will be valued.
• User level of office tools. Experience with SAP is highly valued.

• Direct hiring by the company. Replacement contract with a view to continuity in a stable position.

Currently, from the Mecánica 4.0 GI PRO specialized line, we are looking for a First-Class Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a major company in the paper recycling sector located in the south of Madrid.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of their work area according to the needs of the different areas or departments they cover, ensuring the correct functioning of the company's equipment, machines, and facilities.
• Prevent, detect, solve, and communicate any incidents produced, establishing, proposing, and documenting corrective measures that allow for the optimization of existing equipment, machines, and facilities.
• Participate in the replenishment of necessary consumables in their work area and their proper location.
• Collaborate with the safety, order, and cleanliness of their workstation.
• Use properly and maintain in correct condition the tools, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Define and apply the company's work procedures and standards, management systems, environment, and the occupational risk prevention system.
• Assist the area manager in all tasks related to their work area.
• Know, stay informed, and apply the work procedures associated with their position.

• Full-time: Monday to Thursday from 7:00h to 15:00h, Friday from 7:00h to 14:00h. Intensive working day in summer.
