  • Use of software: ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, or similar

The role

The Green Recruitment Company is looking for an Electrical Calculations Engineer for Network and Protection studies.

What you'll do

  • Development of electrical system models and simulation

  • Execution of electrical analyses, including: Short-circuit calculations according to IEC 60909, load flow studies, setting and coordination of protection systems at HV/MV/LV levels, and Arc Flash assessment according to IEEE 1584 / NFPA 70E

  • Analysis of transient phenomena and overvoltages (TOV, VFTO, TRV)

  • Power quality, harmonics, and stability studies

  • Analysis of electrical networks and verification of compliance with current regulations

  • Writing of technical reports and engineering documentation

  • Definition of design criteria and coordination of protection schemes
