Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or other related fields.
Specific training in the management and administration of residential centers (Master's or postgraduate degree is valued).
Experience in management or coordination positions in elderly residences or other socio-sanitary centers.
Deep knowledge of regional and state regulations regarding social services and dependency.
Proficiency in office tools and residential center management software.

Nice to have

Experience in implementing quality management systems (accreditations, certifications).
Training in restraint release and ACP.
Skills in institutional communication and media relations.

We are looking for a professional with a vocation for service and a solid track record in socio-sanitary management to lead our elderly residence. The selected person will be responsible for guaranteeing the quality of care, the well-being of the residents, and the correct functioning of the center.

What you'll do

Main duties

Plan, organize, and supervise all center services: healthcare, social services, hospitality, and administration.
Manage and coordinate the multidisciplinary team: doctors, nursing, assistants, social work, and support staff.
Ensure the quality of life, dignity, and integral well-being of the residents and their families.
Guarantee compliance with current regulations regarding social services, health, and occupational risk prevention.
Prepare and control the center's annual budget, optimizing resources and guaranteeing economic viability.
Implement and supervise continuous improvement systems and quality standards (ISO, EFQM, or equivalents).
Represent the center before the Administration, regulatory bodies, and external providers.
Prepare reports, management reports, and periodic updates for corporate management or the center's ownership.
Actively manage the waiting list and the intake process, guaranteeing an entry experience that generates trust from day one.
Build and maintain relationships with GPs, social workers, hospitals, and local health services that may refer future residents.
Personally attend to inquiries from families interested in the center, accompany them during visits, and convey security to them during the decision-making process.
Monitor available vacancies and anticipate departures, minimizing vacancy times.
Care for the center's reputation in the local environment: the best acquisition is having the families already here recommend the center to others.
Periodically report occupancy indicators and propose actions when the trend is not as expected.
