We are looking to incorporate an Electrical QA/QC Engineer to participate in an important project for the construction of a Data Center (CPD) in Madrid.

The selected person will join the project's quality team and will be responsible for supervising and ensuring that the electrical installations are executed in accordance with technical specifications, applicable regulations, and established quality standards.

What you'll do

Main Functions

  • Supervision and inspection of electrical installations during the different phases of the project.
  • Preparation of quality certificates for the executed installations.
  • Preparation, review, and maintenance of QA/QC documentation.
  • Preparation and follow-up of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
  • Preparation and review of work procedures from a technical and quality perspective.
  • Management of Inspection Requests (IR) and follow-up of inspections.
  • Preparation of inspection reports.
  • Management and follow-up of NCR (Non-Conformity Reports) and corrective actions.
  • Preparation and closure of Punch Lists.
  • Preparation of the necessary documentation for the final delivery of the project (Quality Dossier / Hand Over Documentation).
  • Inspection and verification of:

Cable trays and support systems.

Cable laying, installation, and dressing.

Low and Medium Voltage cable terminations.

Grounding systems.

Lightning protection systems.

Busbar Systems.

  • Supervision and verification of electrical tests:

Megger Test / Insulation Resistance Test.

Continuity tests.

Torque Test.

Polarity verification.

  • Pre-commissioning checks.
  • Coordination with installation teams to resolve incidents detected during inspections.
  • Support during Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
  • Participation in technical quality meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, procedures, and quality standards during project execution.
