Car Insurance Claims Handler / CICOS

We are especially looking for professionals who have real experience in the autonomous management of agreements, know their deadlines, communications, codes, and application criteria, and can manage files independently from start to finish.

What are we looking for?

The following are essential:

1-2 years of experience in car insurance claims processing.

Practical experience and autonomy in the management of CICOS, CIDE, and ASCIDE.

Knowledge of the deadlines, codes, communications, messages, and application criteria of the agreements.

Ability to manage files with autonomy, performing follow-up from beginning to end.

Knowledge of other areas of car insurance processing.

We will particularly value:

• Experience in Own Damage.
• Claims for damages and injuries outside the scope of agreements.
• Management of foreign claims.
• Analytical, organizational, and file follow-up skills.
• Customer orientation and good communication skills

What do we offer?

• Permanent contract.
• Salary: €24,000 – €26,000 gross/year, depending on experience.
• Flexible start time: between 07:00 and 09:30 h.
• Finish between 16:00 and 19:15 h, depending on the start time.
• Possibility of part-time employment.
• Teleworking on Fridays.

At Grupo Crit, we are looking for a Car Claims Handler to join a consolidated company in the insurance sector, located in Madrid, on a permanent basis.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Autonomously manage car insurance claim files, especially property damage.
• Correctly apply the CICOS, CIDE, and ASCIDE agreements.
• Manage the deadlines established by the agreements, performing the necessary follow-up to avoid expirations.
• Correctly manage communications between companies, messages, and codes associated with the agreements.
• Analyze the claim documentation and determine the applicable coverage according to the policy and circumstances.
• Assess responsibilities and apply the corresponding criteria in the processing.
• Manage claims and follow up on files until their resolution.
• Maintain telephone contact with policyholders and other interlocutors to provide information on the status of the file.
• Coordinate adjusters, assistance, lawyers, and other providers involved in the management.
• Manage Own Damage files, claims for damages and injuries outside of agreements, and foreign claims.
