Cleaning Operative for Rooms, Common Areas and Kitchenette

What work will you do?: The center has a supervision team that distributes the daily cleaning tasks for rooms and the kitchenette to the staff across the different areas of the workplace. Cleaning of Rooms and common areas: - Daily cleaning and disinfection of common areas: floors, windows, doors, room furniture, bathrooms, living rooms, dining room, infirmary, and various areas of the residence. - Cleaning of rooms and making beds. - Collecting and cleaning tableware. - Changing bed linen and preparing rooms. - Washing, drying, and storing tableware, ensuring its correct disinfection. - Serving menus, collecting, and cleaning tableware. - Cleaning and preparing dining rooms for the next shift. - Distribution of menus according to the specific diets and needs of the users. Kitchenette Tasks: - Collection of trays, plates, cutlery, and glasses once service is finished. - Removing food remains from plates, cutlery, trays, and utensils. - Classifying tableware by type (plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.). - Placing tableware in the dishwasher following the recommended order and capacity. - Cleaning and disinfection of tableware using appropriate products and following food hygiene protocols. - Verifying that there are no obstructions preventing correct washing. - Selection of the appropriate program and compliance with timings. - Extracting the clean tableware and checking that it is correctly washed and disinfected. - Repeating the wash if any item has not reached optimal conditions. - Drying manually if necessary. - Storing tableware in its corresponding place, respecting hygiene standards. - Cleaning of refrigerators. - Compliance with hygiene and safety standards, using gloves and uniforms. Application of cleaning and disinfection protocols. - Classification and storage of clean tableware in its corresponding place. - Removal of waste and cleaning of the Kitchenette. - Sweeping and mopping the floor. What are the requirements for this position?: - Ability to work independently and autonomously, and as part of a team. - Knowledge of cleaning protocols and products. - Previous and continuous experience in cleaning jobs. - Good reading comprehension and command of Spanish. - Ability to detect light and/or sound signals. - Ability to walk through the center's facilities, and go up and down stairs without difficulty. - Ability to follow instructions. - Good work pace. What will your schedule be?: Schedule according to a rotating shift roster from Monday to Sunday, both morning (08:00 to 15:00) and afternoon (15:00 to 22:00). What will your salary be?: According to the Special Employment Center collective agreement. Where?: San Blas, Madrid.
