Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences

The International University of Valencia is one of the leading online universities in the Spanish-speaking world, recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. Its Internal Quality Assurance system is established according to the principles set out in the AUDIT Program of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), which are aligned with the criteria and guidelines of the European Higher Education Area.

From the International University of Valencia, we are looking to incorporate, in person, a Dean for the Faculty of Education Sciences into our team

Manage and lead the faculty, driving its growth. Represent the faculty institutionally, generating visibility for the department. Act as the liaison between the Rector's Office and the Faculty.

• Identify trends and training needs in the sector to design new degree programs and update current curricula.
• Prepare, oversee, and optimize the Faculty's annual budget.
• Promote and organize events of interest to the faculty.
• Promote and organize events of interest and build a solid network of agreements and collaboration partnerships with companies and institutions.
• Convene and chair Faculty Board meetings, ensuring the implementation of the agreements reached.
• Promote, direct, and coordinate the academic life of the Faculty.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements established in the University's Quality Management System and drive its continuous improvement.
• Ensure the accreditation of the Faculty's programs.
• Deliver the teaching assigned for the academic year, lead research projects, and contribute with scientific publications in high-impact forums.
• Attend conferences/congresses in their field of expertise.

• A PhD in the field of Education is essential.
• Preferably with recognized accreditation and recognized research periods (six-year terms).
• At least 4 years of experience in the university setting, ideally in academic management and/or leadership roles.
• Strategic vision and results/growth orientation.
• Excellent communication and institutional representation skills.
• Leadership, negotiation, and management skills for multicultural or multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to educational innovation and scientific research.

In-person position. Residency in Valencia or surrounding areas is essential.

Desde la Universidad Internacional de Valencia, buscamos incroporar de manera presencial a nuestro equipo un/a Decano/a para la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación

Gestionar y dirigir la facultad impulsando el crecimiento de la misma. Representar institucionalmente a la facultad generando visibilidad del área. Actuar cómo el órgano de enlace entre el Rectorado y Facultad.

• Detectar tendencias y necesidades formativas del sector para diseñar nuevas titulaciones y actualizar planes de estudio vigentes.
• Elaborar, supervisar y optimizar el presupuesto anual de la Facultad.
• Promocionar y planificar eventos de interés para facultad.
• Promover y planificar eventos de interés y tejer una red sólida de acuerdos y convenios de colaboración con empresas e instituciones.
• Convocar y presidir las reuniones de junta de Facultad, asegurando la ejecución de los acuerdos alcanzados.
• Promover, dirigir y coordinar la vida académica de la Facultad.
• Velar por el cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos en el Sistema de Gestión de Calidad de la Universidad e impulsar la mejora continua del mismo.
• Asegurar la acreditación de los programas de la Facultad.
• Impartir la docencia asignada por curso académico, liderar proyectos de investigación y contribuir con producciones científicas en foros de impacto.
• Asistir a foros/congresos de su especialidad.

• Imprescindible Doctorado en la rama de la Educación.
• Preferentemente con acreditación académica y sexenio reconocido.
• Al menos 4 años de experiencia en el ámbito universitario, idealmente en roles de gestión y/o dirección académica.
• Visión estratégica y orientación a resultados/crecimiento.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y representación institucional.
• Capacidad de liderazgo, negociación y gestión de equipos multiculturales o multidisciplinares.
• Compromiso con la innovación educativa y la investigación científica.

Posición presencial. Imprescindible residencia en Valencia o alrededores.
