What are we looking for?

We are selecting a Vice Dean for the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences to lead the process of continuous improvement in the degree programs and ensure the proper functioning of the Faculty, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and the academic model. To promote the implementation and rollout of new degree programs in their area of knowledge.

What you'll do

What will your day-to-day consist of?

Develop and implement the annual strategic plan through co-creation and engagement with the rest of the Faculty team.

Develop and ensure compliance with improvement plans for the area and the degree programs.

Ensure compliance with the requirements established in the University's quality management system and promote its continuous improvement.

Supervise the monitoring, modifications, verifications, and accreditations of degree programs.

Carry out transversal coordination across the degree programs in the area.

Contribute to the implementation of the academic model.

Contribute to promoting teaching and technological innovation together with the corresponding vice-rectorates.

Guarantee and supervise compliance with academic teaching load rates.

Ensure the flow of information and communication among the different agents of the Faculty.

Lead a multidisciplinary team of degree program directors, teaching staff, and technicians of the Faculty.

Identify the teaching staff recruitment needs for the degree programs, adding academic value.

Coordinate the training and professional development plan together with the corresponding vice-rectorates.

Deliver the teaching assigned for the academic year.

Conduct research and write scientific publications.

Attend forums/conferences in their field of specialization.
