What are we looking for?

We are selecting a Vice Dean for the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences to lead the process of continuous improvement in the degree programs and ensure the proper functioning of the Faculty, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and the academic model. To promote the implementation and rollout of new degree programs in their area of knowledge.

What will your day-to-day consist of?

Develop and implement the annual strategic plan through co-creation and engagement with the rest of the Faculty team.

Develop and ensure compliance with improvement plans for the area and the degree programs.

Ensure compliance with the requirements established in the University's quality management system and promote its continuous improvement.

Supervise the monitoring, modifications, verifications, and accreditations of degree programs.

Carry out transversal coordination across the degree programs in the area.

Contribute to the implementation of the academic model.

Contribute to promoting teaching and technological innovation together with the corresponding vice-rectorates.

Guarantee and supervise compliance with academic teaching load rates.

Ensure the flow of information and communication among the different agents of the Faculty.

Lead a multidisciplinary team of degree program directors, teaching staff, and technicians of the Faculty.

Identify the teaching staff recruitment needs for the degree programs, adding academic value.

Coordinate the training and professional development plan together with the corresponding vice-rectorates.

Deliver the teaching assigned for the academic year.

Conduct research and write scientific publications.

Attend forums/conferences in their field of specialization.

Requirements

What would we like to see in your CV?

PhD related to the area of knowledge.

ANECA accreditation is valued.

Mastery of regulations, accreditation policies, and administrative processes in higher education.

Professional experience: at least 4 years of experience in the university environment and a minimum of 3 years of experience in academic management.

Other skills and knowledge: Strategic vision, leadership and team management, communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and decision-making.

Residence in Valencia is essential. On-site position.

¿Qué buscamos?

Estamos seleccionando a un Vicedecano/a para la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas que lidere el proceso de mejora continua en las titulaciones y vele por el buen funcionamiento de la Facultad, garantizando el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad y del modelo académico. Impulsar la implantación y despliegue de nuevos títulos en su área de conocimiento.

¿En qué consistirá tu día a día?

Desarrollar e implementar el plan estratégico anual a través de la cocreación y activación con el resto de equipo de la Facultad.

Desarrollar y garantizar el cumplimiento de planes de mejora del área y de los títulos.

Velar por el cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos en el sistema de gestión de calidad de la Universidad e impulsar la mejora continua del mismo.

Supervisar el seguimiento, las modificaciones, verificaciones y acreditaciones de títulos.

Llevar a cabo la coordinación transversal en los títulos del área.

Contribuir a la implantación del modelo académico.

Contribuir al impulso de la innovación docente y tecnológica junto a los vicerrectorados correspondientes.

Garantizar y supervisar el cumplimiento de las tasas académicas de profesorado.

Asegurar el flujo de información y comunicación entre los distintos agentes de la facultad.

Liderar un equipo multidisciplinar de directores de título, profesorado y técnicos de facultad.

Detectar las necesidades de contratación del profesorado por titulaciones, aportando valor académico.

Coordinar el plan de formación y desarrollo profesional junto a los vicerrectorados correspondientes.

Impartir la docencia asignada por curso académico.

Investigar y redactar producciones científicas.

Asistir a foros/congresos de su especialidad.

Requisitos

¿Qué nos gustaría ver en tu CV?

Doctorado relacionado con el área de conocimiento.

Valorable acreditación ANECA.

Dominio de normativas, políticas de acreditación y procesos administrativos en educación superior.

Experiencia profesional: al menos 4 años de experiencia en el ámbito universitario y mínimo 3 años de experiencia en gestión académica.

Otras habilidades y conocimientos: Visión estratégica, liderazgo y gestión de equipos, competencia comunicativa, capacidad de resolución de conflictos y toma de decisiones.

Imprescindible residencia en Valencia. Posición presencial
