The role

At the International University of Valencia (VIU), we are committed to a flexible, innovative educational model focused on professional reality. Looking ahead to the 2026-2027 academic year, we are seeking lecturers with skills and extensive knowledge in Psychometrics and Statistics applied to the behavioral sciences.

Ideally, we are calling on lecturers accredited by ANECA or other regional university quality assessment agencies, committed to higher education teaching.

What you'll do

Planning and delivering online teaching.
Monitoring student learning.
Supervising and assessing Master's Theses (TFM), as well as participating in examination boards.
Designing, overseeing, and grading assessment tests.
Updating teaching content and materials.
Using digital tools applied to teaching.
Participating in academic coordination meetings.
Collaborating in academic activities, events, and faculty life.
Participating in research and teaching innovation projects, as well as in the dissemination of results.

What would we like to see on your CV?

University degree in Psychology, Health Sciences, or related fields.
Valuable: PhD in Behavioral Sciences Methodology, Psychometrics, Applied Statistics, Data Analysis, or related areas.
Solid knowledge of statistical analysis applied to behavioral sciences.
Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, JASP, Jamovi, or other data analysis programs).
Experience in research design, analysis, and interpretation of results in psychological and/or educational settings.
Knowledge of quantitative methodologies applied to research in Psychology.
University teaching experience, especially in methodology and applied statistics courses.
Valuable: experience in online teaching and student support in virtual environments.
