• Collaborate in the coordination of resources and teams to ensure the efficient execution of in vivo studies and preclinical research programs, ensuring the obtainment of high-quality results.
• Collaborate effectively with research staff, animal welfare officers, veterinarians, and the Preclinical Science manager to ensure regulatory compliance and the efficient execution of studies.
• Participate in the planning of procedures, review of protocols, preparation of experimental activities, scheduling of work, and supervision of the quality and integrity of the data generated. Perform authorized technical procedures to obtain the best results.
• Ensure that staff involved in the studies have the necessary training, information, and technical support for the proper development of their activities in high-level biosecurity laboratories.
• Ensure the technical competence and training necessary to apply the corresponding techniques.
• Prepare, review, and maintain the necessary regulatory documentation, as well as supervise the correct application of standard operating procedures (SOPs), biosecurity measures, and operational controls.
• Support the management and operation of in vivo facilities, maintaining high standards of animal care, welfare, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen scientific and operational standards.
• Perform any other activity related to the responsibilities and needs inherent to the position.
• Ensure the accurate recording of adverse events, health observations, and retrospective severity assessments in the corresponding corporate platforms (e.g., Tick@Lab).

• Collaborate with the Preclinical Science manager and the research group to ensure that all activities are carried out safely, properly recorded, and in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), hazardous substance control requirements, and corresponding corporate policies and guidelines.
• Work in a multidisciplinary and cross-functional environment to ensure proper alignment and achievement of objectives.
• Identify training needs within the teams and effectively communicate them to management to support the continuous development of staff.
• Ensure that one's own actions do not compromise the health and safety of any person and assume individual responsibility in matters of occupational risk prevention.
• Participate in the management of resources and investments, contributing to the efficient acquisition of equipment through CAPEX projects, optimizing investment, and supporting the operational needs of the area.

• University degree or bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, or related disciplines.

• More than 6 years of experience working with animals in Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3)/Level 4 (BSL-4) environments, including the handling of infectious agents, compliance with containment and biosecurity protocols, and application of corresponding safety regulations, in Spain or other countries.
• Experience in conducting in vitro/in vivo studies in BSL3 and/or BSL4 facilities
• Experience collaborating in the management of resources and in the acquisition of equipment through CAPEX investments.
