The role

H10 Hotels is looking to recruit an Assistant Housekeeper to work at our H10 hotel in South Tenerife.

What you'll do

The duties to be performed will be:

- To carry out in a qualified manner the management, monitoring and follow-up of all tasks involved in the housekeeping service, public areas, internal areas, laundry and linen room, as well as supervising and controlling laundry, ironing and sewing services; likewise, responsible for the organisation of the staff under their charge.

- To organise, direct and coordinate the staff under their charge.

- To direct and plan the full range of activities in their area.

- To direct, supervise and control the purchasing and stock of linen, maintenance and cleaning products.

- To be in charge of the control and inventory of furniture, fixtures and fittings, and room supplies, as well as the organisation of the housekeeping, public areas, internal areas and laundry work.

- To prepare statistics and reports on their area for the hotel management and other departments, as well as for the management of the staff.

- To inspect rooms, public areas and service areas and ensure they are in good condition.

- To assign tasks (duties) to room attendants.

- To supervise the deep cleaning plan.

- To keep control and manage the delivery of "lost and found" items.

- To review the productivity plan.

- To keep staff motivated and provide recognition both verbally and in writing.

- To comply with the quality and service standards of the hotel and the department, as well as with the internal work regulations established by the organisation.

- The Assistant Housekeeper will stand in for the Head Housekeeper in their own duties.
