Job Description

Are you passionate about cybersecurity applied to Artificial Intelligence? Are you motivated by anticipating new threats, defining technical controls, and building secure-by-design AI architectures in a global enterprise environment?

At Iberdrola, we are looking to strengthen our AI Center with a senior AI Security profile that combines solid experience in cybersecurity, threat modeling, cloud architecture, and practical knowledge of the specific risks associated with GenAI, LLMs, and agentic systems.

What will you do?

You will be part of the team responsible for defining and evolving the security architecture for the Group's Artificial Intelligence solutions. Your focus will be on establishing standards, requirements, controls, and reference patterns that enable the secure, governed deployment of AI use cases, aligned with corporate cybersecurity frameworks.

Functions and Responsibilities:

AI Security Standards, Baselines, and Requirements

  • Define specific security standards, baselines, and requirements for AI, ML, LLM, and agentic system solutions.

  • Align controls with frameworks such as OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, CSA, ENISA, and ISO/IEC 42001.

  • Translate technical risks into clear requirements for use cases, platforms, pipelines, and providers.

  • Establish secure configuration criteria for models, tools, integrations, and inference environments.

Threat Modeling, Gap Analysis, and Control Validation

  • Conduct threat modeling, gap analysis, and risk analysis for AI solutions, including methodologies such as CSA MAESTRO, TARA-AI, and MITRE ATLAS.

  • Evaluate threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, data poisoning, model extraction, model inversion, information leakage, and agent tool abuse.

  • Prioritize mitigations considering impact, exposure, use case criticality, control maturity, and emerging risks.

  • Drive security reviews, adversarial testing, AI red teaming, and continuous validation of mitigations.

AI Security Architecture and Solution Evaluation

  • Design secure architecture patterns for GenAI, LLM, agent, model, integration, and enterprise AI platform solutions.

  • Define how security controls should be integrated into the AI lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, operation, and monitoring.

  • Evaluate market AI Security and enterprise cybersecurity solutions, identifying relevant capabilities for runtime protection, guardrails, LLM firewalls, AI-SPM, model security, and threat monitoring.

  • Recommend the adoption and integration of solutions such as CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Cisco, or other specialized providers when they add value to the corporate security model.

Governance, Enablement, and Multidisciplinary Coordination

  • Support platform, architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams in applying AI Security controls in a practical and consistent manner.

  • Define guides, reusable patterns, and decision criteria for use cases, agents, applications, models, and corporate platforms.

  • Coordinate AI Security initiatives with internal teams and external providers, ensuring technical, functional, and operational alignment.

  • Ensure traceability of decisions, AI security governance, and continuous evolution of controls, procedures, and roadmap.
