Mechanical Maintenance Technician

From IMAN Global Consulting, a recruitment consultancy for Technical, Middle and C-Suite profiles, we are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a company located in Algemesí, Valencia.

Your tasks would be:

- Corrective Maintenance: Diagnosis and repair of faults in electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and operational continuity.

- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Execution of planned preventive maintenance programmes. Development and implementation of predictive maintenance, especially during technical shutdown periods (summer), to extend the service life of equipment and prevent unexpected failures.

- Training of Operational Staff: Technical training for operators in the handling and maintenance of specialised equipment, including: tippers, balers, robotic systems and sorting systems.

- Workshop Management: Cleaning and organising the workshop to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Inventory control and replenishment of materials and spare parts stock, ensuring availability for repairs and maintenance.

- Manufacture and Assembly of New Machinery: Design and construction of new industrial equipment, such as: conveyor belts and sorting tables. Adjustment and customisation of machinery according to the plant's operational needs.

- Operational Support for Production: Collaboration in key positions during absences of qualified staff, ensuring operability in critical production areas, only occasionally and for very specific moments.

- Working hours: Rotating morning-afternoon shifts.

This role will require:

- Academic training: Intermediate vocational training cycle as a technician in automotive electromechanics or electromechanical maintenance technician. Alternatively, compulsory secondary education with proven experience in the sector.

- Additional training: Valuable: Heavy Machinery or Forklift Operator certificate; Certification in Electronic Diagnostic Systems; Specific courses in mechanical and electronic fault diagnosis, automotive air conditioning and climate control systems, welding and manufacture of mechanical components.

- Basic computer skills.

- 3 years of experience in related positions.
