What we're looking for
✅ Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electro-Optical Engineer.
✅ Degree in Physics, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar.
✅ A Master's in Photonics will be valued.
✅ Knowledge of hardware design for laser systems.
✅ Experience in development and testing of class 3 and 4 laser systems.
✅ Experience in system requirements specification and verification.
✅ Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary work teams.
✅ Advanced English, both spoken and written.
✅ Previous experience in DIRCM electro-optical systems or other defense electro-optical systems will be valued.

💻 Join our Electronic Defense team!
As a leading company in the defense sector, we want to strengthen our team with an Electro-Optical Engineer specialized in DIRCM systems to take part in strategic projects with high technological content.
What you'll do
- Specify and verify requirements for electro-optical systems, analyzing customer requirements and defining system technical requirements.
- Perform the hardware design of class 3 and 4 laser systems, including component selection, circuit design, and thermal analysis.
- Participate in the design and development of electronic systems associated with electro-optical solutions.
- Define interfaces between the different subsystems (electronic, optical, mechanical, and software).
- Coordinate multidisciplinary work teams, collaborating with software engineers, mechanical designers, and test engineers.
- Prepare and maintain the technical design and development documentation of the system.
- Apply and ensure compliance with development regulations such as PECAL and MIL-STD.
- Participate in customer meetings, including presenting technical proposals, discussing requirements, and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate on integration, verification, and testing activities for electro-optical and laser systems.
