Product Expert - Defense and Security Engineering

We are looking for professionals with engineering training and a solid technological base.

• University degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial, or related technical disciplines.
• Professional experience in security technologies, defense, telecommunications, critical systems, or advanced technological environments.
• Interest and/or experience in one or several of the following areas:
• 5G and advanced communications
• Drones and autonomous systems
• CUAS / Counter-UAS
• Technological security
• Biometrics
• Artificial Intelligence
• Sensors and surveillance systems
• Infrastructure protection
• Regulated and unregulated borders
• Integration of security and defense systems and technologies
• Ability to understand complex technological systems and work with different technologies and providers.
• Ability to perform testing, troubleshooting, integration, and validation of solutions.
• Professional English, both oral and written.
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

• Experience in Defense and Security projects.
• Experience in PoC, pilots, technical demonstrations, or deployments.
• Knowledge of telecommunications architectures and networks.
• Experience working with 5G, edge computing, IoT, or distributed systems.
• Knowledge or experience with drones, CUAS, and autonomous systems.
• Experience in systems integration and multi-technology solutions.
• Knowledge of AI, computer vision, video analytics, or biometrics.
• Experience working with public bodies, security forces and bodies, defense, airports, critical infrastructures, or other high-security environments.
• Experience working with manufacturers and technological partners.
• Ability to operate in international environments.
• Location: Madrid, with availability to travel nationally and internationally.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

• Specialized training in the Defense 5.0 environment, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, unmanned systems (drones), and advanced technologies. Oriented towards the application of emerging technologies in security and defense environments, providing a cross-functional vision between technology, innovation, and operational needs.
• PMI I and PMI II Project Management
• Specialized training in project management and direction, based on methodologies and best practices from the PMI environment. Development of competencies in planning, monitoring, resource management, risks, costs, team coordination, and goal achievement, applicable to highly complex technological projects.
• Knowledge in GenAI
• Practical and specialized training in Generative Artificial Intelligence. Knowledge of the possibilities of AI for automation in systems.
• Drone Pilot and Aeronautical Training (AESA)
• Training as an unmanned aircraft systems (UAS/drones) pilot and instructor training. Knowledge of safe drone operation, aeronautical regulations, and UAS operation planning, including the ability to manage requests and documentation for aerial operations before AESA, as well as the preparation and processing of operational scenarios through SORA 2.5.
• Drive the adoption and deployment of advanced Defense and Security technologies, acting as a link between clients, manufacturers, and internal teams, ensuring the understanding, validation, and integration of innovative solutions that provide operational and technological value.
