· Design the communications architecture of the platforms based on operational and mission requirements.
· Identify, evaluate, and select suitable COTS communications solutions for each application.
· Perform comparative analyses (trade-offs) taking into account aspects such as range, bandwidth, latency, resilience, SWaP-C, and cost.
· Lead the integration of radios, antennas, and communications equipment into UAV platforms.
· Participate in integration and laboratory testing, ground testing, and flight campaigns.
· Analyze and resolve incidents related to communications systems performance during the integration and validation phases, as well as prepare the associated technical documentation.
