Endpoint and XDR Protection Specialist

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Endpoint (Antivirus, Antimalware, EPP, among others), XDR, EDR, and SIEM.
• Experience in the implementation, administration, and optimization of Endpoint protection and XDR solutions.
• Solid knowledge of log management, security event analysis, and threat hunting techniques.
• Experience in cybersecurity incident management and the development of response playbooks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced English.

• Experience with Cortex XDR, Crowdstrike, Trend Micro, McAfee, Microsoft Defender, and the Microsoft security suite, among others.
• Knowledge of other security technologies such as firewalls, IPS, and DLP.
• Experience in SOC (Security Operations Center) management.
• Information security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC.

The ideal candidate must have a broad understanding of Endpoint protection security technologies (Antivirus, Antimalware, EPP, among others), XDR, EDR, and SIEM, as well as experience in the implementation, administration, and optimization of Endpoint and XDR type solutions. • Implement, administer, and optimize next-generation Endpoint protection and XDR solutions in complex environments.
• Integrate Endpoint protection and XDR tools with other security tools to obtain a holistic view of the threat landscape.
• Analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to potential threats in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain automated incident response playbooks to ensure a rapid and effective response to security incidents.
• Manage cybersecurity incidents from detection to resolution, using Endpoint protection and XDR tools and processes.
• Collaborate with other security teams to improve the overall security posture of the organization.
• Stay up to date on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in cybersecurity.
