Requirements

What we're looking for

8-10 years or more of experience in software architecture, with at least 3-5 years leading architectures in large-scale projects.
Experience with microservices, DDD, CQRS, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure: AKS or Azure Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions.
Architectural knowledge of .NET / C#.
Experience modernizing legacy systems and designing cloud-native solutions.
Knowledge of data architecture, SQL Server, MongoDB, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
Familiarity with security by design, GDPR, and Agile methodologies.
Ability to communicate complex ideas, connect business and technology, and guide multidisciplinary teams.
Advanced English

Nice to have

Experience with LIMS, such as LabWare or STARLIMS.
Knowledge of laboratory processes and environmental analysis.
Experience integrating SAP or Oracle.
Experience in multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

The role

We are looking for a Solutions Architect - Azure / LIMS!

Are you passionate about designing architectures, connecting systems, and turning technological challenges into real solutions? This project could be for you!

We are looking for a Solutions Architect who wants to leave their mark by defining the architecture of a global, modern, and future-ready platform.

What you'll do

Design the solution architecture and set the technological course.
Define architectures based on microservices, APIs, and events.
Lead the evolution of legacy systems towards cloud-native solutions.
Design integrations with corporate systems such as ERP, eQMS, and EMS.
Ensure that the platform is scalable, secure, resilient, and easy to evolve.
Guide the Development, DevOps, Frontend, and Data teams in technical decisions.
Define standards, best practices, and architectural documentation.
Important: your mission will be to design, decide, and guide, not to spend your day programming production code.

How you'll work

Possibility of occasional travel to offices in PORTUGAL
90% remote working modality (between 1 and 4 days in-person per month, although there is some flexibility to manage this.)
