Data Engineer

• Experience as a Data Engineer, Data Modeler, Analytics Engineer or similar.
• Solid experience in conceptual, logical and physical Data Modeling.
• Experience designing data exploitation models.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Data Warehouse (DWH) and/or Lakehouse architectures.
• Ability to transform business/functional needs into reusable data solutions.
• Ability to communicate with different teams and stakeholders.
• Autonomy, technical judgment, and ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
• Hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, especially in one of the following areas: GenAI, LLMs, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, or deploying models in production.
• Interest and ability to work on solutions where AI is not merely an assistant, but a component capable of executing tasks and processes.

At IT Partner España, we are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Modeler to join a strategic project within the Data area, working on the definition of data models and exploitation models that will support new corporate applications and Artificial Intelligence agents on AWS Cloud.

You will be part of a Data team working on the evolution of internal applications and on building reusable and scalable data solutions, with a strong focus on Data & AI initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define exploitation models and consumption layers for different use cases.
• Design reusable data structures and semantic models.
• Translate functional needs into efficient and scalable data solutions.
• Define metrics and analytical data models.
• Guarantee the quality, consistency, and accessibility of information.
• Work alongside technical and multidisciplinary teams.
• Define specifications for ETL processes that will subsequently be implemented by other teams.
• Contribute to Data Modeling and Data Governance best practices.
• Participate in initiatives related to Analytics, Data, AI and GenAI.
• Design data models and structures that allow AI applications and agents to access, interpret, and use information efficiently.

🤖 AI: an especially important requirement

We are looking for a profile with a strongly AI-oriented mindset and, especially, with hands-on experience using AI beyond productivity or assistance tools.

Integration of AI models with data and applications.

For this reason, we are looking for people who understand how to design solutions in which AI executes tasks and processes autonomously or semi-autonomously, with the necessary oversight and validation mechanisms.
