DevOps / Platform Engineer – OSPO

Experience: +5 years

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar positions.
• Experience with cloud and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
• Solid experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge and experience in observability, monitoring, and logging.
• Experience in automation and scripting with Python and/or Bash.
• Knowledge of scalability, reliability, security, and platform operation.
• Experience with tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, GrimoireLab or similar will be valued.
• English B2, necessary to work in an international environment.
• Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

A person with a technical profile, autonomous and oriented towards automation, capable of working both in the infrastructure and DevOps part as well as in the evolution of a large-scale technological platform.

Previous experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and observability will be especially valued.

English: minimum B2

Salary: around €68,000 gross per year

We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to join the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) team, participating in the design, automation, operation, and evolution of the platform that supports the company's Open Source and InnerSource ecosystem.

The selected person will have a key role in the reliability, scalability, automation, observability, and security of the platform, working with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and the GitHub ecosystem.

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platforms.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Automate operational processes and administration tasks using Python and/or Bash.
• Manage the GitHub ecosystem, including organizations, repositories, applications, integrations, and automations.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, logging, and dashboard solutions.
• Work with tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, and GrimoireLab.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Work with Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, security, and reliability of the platforms.
• Contribute to the collection, processing, and visualization of metrics related to Open Source and InnerSource adoption.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an international environment and primarily in English.

Location: We prioritize Barcelona (hybrid), otherwise, the rest of the client's offices.

Working hours: 42 h/week from September to June and 30 h/week in July and August
