What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Typically 3-8 years of experience in business analysis, digitalisation, digital transformation, project coordination, or a comparable business-facing role; experience within the solar or wider renewable energy industry is advantageous but not required
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Salesforce, Power BI, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Fluent English and Chinese are mandatory; additional European languages are an advantage

Nice to have

  • Experience gathering business requirements and supporting digitalisation or business improvement initiatives is an advantage
  • Experience coordinating digitalisation, transformation, IT, or other cross-functional projects is strongly preferred
  • Experience in commercial, market, or business analysis is an advantage
  • Experience working with international and cross-cultural stakeholders, particularly between European and Chinese teams, is an advantage
  • A combined background in digitalisation, IT, or transformation and the solar or renewable energy industry is a strong advantage

The role

Full-time | Madrid, Spain | Digital Europe 

The Senior Business Analyst Europe supports the Team Lead Digitalisation Europe in understanding business needs, gathering stakeholder requirements, and coordinating digitalisation and transformation initiatives across Europe. You act as a link between European business stakeholders, the Digitalisation team, and relevant HQ teams in China, helping ensure that business requirements, project activities, user feedback, and implementation progress are clearly documented and followed through. 
In this position, you work closely with European departments to understand their processes and needs, while coordinating with HQ in China to identify existing digital solutions and assess their applicability to the European business. 
As a secondary area of responsibility, you support market and commercial analysis to provide relevant insights for business and sales decision-making. 

What you'll do

  • Gather business requirements and stakeholder input across relevant functions and European departments, developing a clear understanding of their processes, challenges, and digitalisation needs
  • Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements for the Digitalisation team and relevant HQ stakeholders
  • Coordinate assigned digitalisation and transformation initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder alignment, user feedback, implementation follow-up, and communication
  • Track actions, requirements, issues, dependencies, milestones, and project progress to support successful delivery
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between European stakeholders, the Digitalisation team, and relevant HQ teams in China
  • Work with HQ to understand existing systems, digital solutions, and transformation initiatives in China and assess their applicability to European business processes and requirements
  • Support the adaptation and implementation of suitable HQ solutions within the European organisation

Business Performance & Reporting 

  • Prepare business analysis and ad hoc insights to support management decision-making
  • Support selected reporting, dashboards, and data analysis activities
  • Conduct structured analysis on commercial, operational, or organisational topics as required

Market & Commercial Analysis 

  • Analyse relevant market developments, customers, competitors, and commercial trends
  • Provide structured market and commercial insights to support Sales and management decision-making

Selected Strategic Projects 

  • Support selected cross-functional projects through analysis, project coordination, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up
  • Assist with fact-finding, project tracking, and preparation of materials for assigned initiatives
  • Coordinate with European departments and HQ stakeholders to ensure that project requirements, responsibilities, and next steps are clearly understood and followed through

Occasional travel across Europe and, where required, to support coordination with HQ or other international stakeholders.
