The role
Do you want to have an excellent experience as an employee in one of the most pioneering toy companies in the market? Are you passionate about games and driven to provide exceptional products and services to customers worldwide?
This is the company you are looking for!
At Jumbo we want people to learn, have fun and be happy thanks to our amazing toys and games. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Data Operation Lead to join our dynamic team and make dreams come true!
What you'll do
Good decisions depend on good data, and good data starts at the source. As our Data Operation Lead, you will lead the data capture effort across the organization: working hand in hand with business teams to make sure the right information is captured correctly the first time and stepping in when it isn't.
You will be the person who resolves the toughest data gaps, shapes how data enters our systems, and helps a junior colleague grow into the role. It is a hands-on position with real ownership, you will both fix today's issues and design the processes that stop them coming back.
Coordinate data capture with the business
- Partner with business teams to capture data at the source, agreeing what needs to be recorded, by whom and when.
- Resolve complex or escalated data gaps by investigating root causes, chasing the right owners and closing issues.
- Enter missing data directly when no system or team owns a given field, so that nothing falls through the cracks.
Improve processes and workflows
- Review current data processes and improve them by introducing new rules, controls and workflows.
- Build and refine data intake processes including forms, trackers and ticketing flows, so data arrives complete and consistent.
- Escalate systemic issues to the business steward or the digital team lead when a problem needs a structural or system-level fix.
Lead and support
- Train the Data Operation Specialist on data standards, tools and ways of working.
- Act as the first point of support for questions, unusual cases and recurring issues flagged by the junior.
