About the role

Krell Consulting is looking to bring on a Java Developer with experience in API Management to join a stable, long-term project in Madrid.

We are looking for a profile with solid experience in backend development, API management and development, as well as deployments across different environments.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience with an API Manager on the market: WSO2, MuleSoft, Apigee, Azure, Kong, etc.
  • At least 3 years of experience in API development, working with technologies and standards such as OAuth2, SAML and OpenID.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java development with Spring, especially:
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring Data
  • REST Services
  • Swagger / OpenAPI
  • Experience in repository management and version control with Git.
  • Experience working with relational databases, such as Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server.
  • Experience developing with Java 5/6.
  • Experience in backend development and in deployments across the client's different environments.
  • Minimum English B1, with the ability to hold conversations. A level of B2 or higher will be especially valued.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Cloud environments.
  • Experience developing with Java 8.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, MQ queues and MongoDB.
