About the role

For this position, a management profile is required in the IT Development field, with extensive knowledge and experience both in project execution and in BAU management under PegaSystems technology. Their mission will consist of leading the IT Development team focused on maintenance and projects in the claims domain, for both an insurance company and a service company, within the Core Assistance area.

What you'll do

  • Ensure the alignment of Pega with the technology and business strategy, maximizing functional value and long-term operational sustainability.

  • Leadership of action plans / improvement actions in response to risks and/or issues, selection and control of providers, liaison with the different Business areas of the Group.
  • Autonomy and solvency in decision-making.

      • Experience in managing technology projects in the insurance sector and leading senior, heterogeneous teams, with a solid methodological foundation (both in Agile methodologies and in the traditional waterfall model), demonstrating a differential value in the evolution of traditional environments and processes, as well as the ability to liaise effectively at a high level to successfully undertake different project lines.
      • Definition of tactical and coexistence solutions to support analytics systems, including data models and data transformation processes.
      • Experience in conducting business needs analysis and recommending technical solutions.
      • Knowledge of software design, including architecture patterns for Front-end and Back-end layers, for the conceptualization and design of new architectures based on new IT paradigms (e.g., Microservices), as well as Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA, APIs, etc.) and BPMN (Pega).
      • Demonstrated experience in developing solutions with PEGA for "Customer Services for Insurances", traditional UI, Cosmos, and Constellation.
      • Experience in using Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Pega processes.
      • Experience using tools related to the software development lifecycle (Service Now).
