What we're looking for
What is important for the role:
+ 3-5 years of experience in Controlling/FP&A positions (experience in Retail would be a plus)
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Be result oriented, highly analytical and organized
Proficiency in Excel and Power Point are required, and positive valued Power BI.
Excellent communication skills in English & Spanish
Proactive, work with tight deadlines
The role

As a Wholesale & Econcession controller, you will be part of our Finance Team based in Madrid and reporting to the Wholesale & Digital Controlling Manager.
What you'll do
- Perform the monthly closing for the local company, working closely with the Accounting team on Sales matters: analyze variances and review the P&L (Sales, Margin, and OPEX) for both channels (Wholesale and E-concession), calculate accruals, and provide qualitative commentary.
- Collaborate with other entities (US, APAC, etc.) and perform monthly consolidations to build the worldwide P&L for both channels.
- Support the preparation of ad hoc requests for internal and external stakeholders, including spend analysis, activity tracking by region (CAPEX, Marketing, and Staffing expenses), and monthly closing presentations for executive management.
- Work closely with the business teams, providing support through various analyses (for example, financial modeling for new store openings).
- Coordinate budgeting activities and prepare local P&L forecasts during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Participate in transformation projects involving systems and tools such as Anaplan, Esker, and Power BI.
