Logistics Procurement Negotiator

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an environment related to logistics negotiations.
• Minimum B2 English.
• High level of Microsoft Office.

• Experience in the retail/wholesale sector is valued.

Job description

We are looking for a Logistics Procurement Negotiator (Temporary) to join the Logistics team at our headquarters in Madrid. Below, we will tell you all the details of the role:

Your mission; you will contribute to the integration, management, and profitability of a portfolio of suppliers in Makro's omnichannel logistics network, analyzing which logistics flow should best suit the supplier level and delivery references, lead time, service level, availability, turnover, and demand of our centers, and evaluating logistics efficiencies and high service levels for our end customer.

• You will analyze and study costs/revenues per supplier, to seek logistics efficiencies, the best profitability, and the flow that best suits each supplier.
• You will negotiate with suppliers the closing and management of logistics agreements.
• You will communicate to the parties involved in the process the closing of the agreement and its conditions.
• You will manage suppliers and references (additions and unblocking).
